Sequel to the release of the 2020 WAEC May/June result statistics, the Head of National Office, WAEC, said candidates can check their results online on the council’s website within 24 hours of the declaration of the results.

Candidates that participated in the 2020 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) May/June WASSCE can now check their results online.

How to Check 2020 WAEC Result Online – FREE! | www.waecdirect.org.

To check your WAEC result 2020 online, follow the procedure below:

You don’t need to purchase any scratch card to check your result. The result checker PIN and Serial Number are contained on the flip side of the candidates’ CIVAMPENS Card issued to all candidates by WAEC.

Sample of WAEC CIVAMPENS Card

1. Go to WAEC result checking official portal at www.waecdirect.org
2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
3. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2020
4. Select the year you sat for the exam i.e. 2020.
5. Select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
6. Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number as shown on your WAEC ID CARD
7. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN
8. Finally, enter your scratch card pin and serial number in the required space and then click submit to view your result.

How to Check WAEC result via SMS

To receive your WAEC result via SMS, follow the procedure outlined below:

• Send SMS in the format below:
  WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
  To short-code 32327 (MTN, Celtel & Glo subscribers)
• For example -:
  WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2007

Note: Please ensure you adhere strictly to the format above. There should be no space in the message.

Wait for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS. (SMS Cost N30 Only)
