Scholarship Description:

The London School of Economics and Political Science is seeking applications for the 2023-2024 Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity programme for social change leaders working to combat inequality. The application is open to international students around the world.

The programme, which is open until January 12, is for policymakers, researchers, practitioners, campaigners, journalists, and artists from around the world.

This fully-funded fellowship is seeking mid-career social change leaders with 7 to 10 years of experience in challenging inequalities, from around the world. Previous applicants have worked in economics and social rights, sustainability and environmental activism, tax justice, economic alternatives, women’s, ethnic, and disability rights, education rights, public policy, housing and urban inequalities, labour rights, community organising, arts and culture, and peacebuilding and transitional justice.

Degree Level:

Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity programme 2024 is available to undertake Masters’s level programs at the London School of Economics.

There are two tracks in our fellowship: Residential and Non-Residential. Members of the Residential track undertake the MSc in Inequalities and Social Science at LSE during their active fellowship year. 

The Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity programme is supported by The Atlantic Philanthropies via a £64 million, 20-year grant aimed at building a catalytic community of 400 fellows. It is one of seven Atlantic Fellowships worldwide working to create a global community to advance fairer, healthier and more inclusive societies.

Scholarship Benefits:

Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity program 2024 is fully funded hence it will support tuition fees, monthly stipend, etc

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Ready to undertake a master’s program in London.
  • fulfills admission criteria for relevant masters program.
