How to Check JAMB Result for Free

To check your check 2022 JAMB UTME Result for free Online, kindly follow these steps.

Go to the JAMB UTME Result checking portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResults
Enter your JAMB Registration Number/Email Address in the space provided
Click on the “Check My Results” button
The portal will load your result if it’s ready

For those who do not have access to their Jamb Profile, you can now check your result with your Jamb Registration Number only.

How to Check your JAMB Result via SMS

The guideline on how to check the 2022 JAMB Result via SMS has been made available by the Board. Please see the details below;

JAMB said that effective from when it would officially release the results, all candidates can simply send RESULT, via SMS, to 55019 using the same number that was used during registration.

The result, it said, would be replied to as an SMS shortly after.

This process, the board explained, was simplified to eliminate exploitation by business centres and cyber cafés that often take advantage of candidates.

In a nutshell, this is how you can check your result via SMS

All candidates can now send RESULT, via SMS, to 55019 using the same number that was used for registration (you must have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line). The result would be replied as an SMS shortly after.

Send an “SMS” with the word “RESULT” to 55019
You will get a response with your result

The following are the responses to be expected when you check via SMS:

If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register, a message will be sent to him thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear Mr/Miss ABC, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
If a result is withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to the candidate.
If a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
“CANDIDATE ABSENT” mean a candidate was absent, s/he would get as feedback
A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
“Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.
