Admission Requirements

Pre-Degree

(a) Candidates must possess credit pass in at least three (3) O’ level subjects.

(b) Important Note: The Pre-Degree Programme is totally and completely a preparatory programme.
Therefore, for a candidate to be eligible for admission consideration into 100 Level of any course in
Mountain Top University, he/she must score a required mark in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for 2021/2022 Session and must also have obtained five (5) O‘ Level Credits at not more than two (2) sittings for presentation at the time of 2021/2022 Admission Exercise.

(c) UTME score is not required for admission into the Pre-Degree Programme, however, all successful candidates will be required to register for and take the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation
Examination (UTME) into programmes of their choice from the list provided above. The programme is fully residential.

Method of Application

Visit mtu.edu.ng (click on “Student” and select “2020/2021 Prospective Students” from the drop-down menu). Click on “Start a Fresh Application”
Enter your basic details (Name, Active Mobile Phone Number and E-mail Address) and Click on “Continue”
Download and print your Payment Voucher.
Go to any of the under-listed banks with the printout of your Payment Voucher and make payment for the sum of N 10, 000 (For Pre-Degree) to any of the following Banks:
1. First Bank of Nigeria Plc
  Platform for Payment: SkoolPay Platform
  Account Name: Mountain Top University.
2. Zenith Bank Plc.
  Platform for Payment: Xpath Platform
  Account Name: Mountain Top University.
3. Ecobank Limited
  Platform for Payment: Basys Platform
  Account Name: Mountain Top University.
4. Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.
  Platform for Payment: GTCollection
  Account Name: Mountain Top University.
