MTN Nigeria invites all primary and secondary school students between the ages of 9 and 15 to participate in the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee. The competition is Nigeria’s first-ever digital Spelling Bee competition been held by the organization. This year, the stakes are even higher as the top 20 participants, as well as their teachers and the winner’s school stand a chance to win cash prizes of over N7 million, phones, laptops, and many more prizes.

Spelling Bee portal opens for practice tests on 1st September and runs till September.
Round 1 Competition runs from 3pm on 13th Sept to 11:59pm on October.

Stages of MTN mPulse Spelling Bee competition

There are 3 stages of the competition. The first stage will be done on the MTN mPulse website and is open to all students resident in Nigeria who are between 9 and 15 years. The top 1,000 from the first round will be invited for the second round of the competition which will also be done on the mPulse website. The first 20 students with the highest scores from the second round will qualify 3rd stage and the grand finale will be done online via live video conferencing.
