COVID-19: OAU Notice to Students – Stay at Home Until the University Reopen

The Division wishes to intimate all students that the said Release did not emanate from the Division of Student Affairs of this University. As far as we know, this Division has not issued any Release to invite the students to the Obafemi Awolowo University Campus as of now.

You will recall that the Federal Government ask that all school in the nation be shut as a result of Covid-19. Till now the government is yet to lift that ban.

All students are therefore enjoined to disregard the purported Release and continue to stay in their respective homes until further notice.

All Hall Wardens should please note that students are not allowed to gain entrance into the Halls of Residence for any reason until the University reopens officially for academic activities.

Thank you.
