Babcock University Post UTME General Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum Qualification: Five credits at GCE/SSCE/NECO examinations or their equivalent in not more than two sittings (one sitting for Medicine).
  • UTME Aggregate Score: Not lower than 170.
  • Age Requirement: Only candidates who are 16 years and above are eligible to apply.

Important Note

  • Admission into Babcock University’s undergraduate programmes is only through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Direct Entry (JAMB DE).
  • Only UTME and DE candidates who selected Babcock University as their first choice are eligible for the screening exercise. However, candidates who did not select Babcock University as their first choice can still apply but must change their first choice to Babcock University at anyΒ accredited JAMB CBT CentreΒ to complete the admission process.
  • Candidates applying for Inter-University Transfer Admissions need to present aΒ JAMB Admission Letter, Transcript, and Attestation Letter from their previous university.

The application is also open to foreign applicants provided they meet the general entry and JAMB requirements.

Babcock University Direct Entry Requirement

Minimum qualification for the First Degree Programme:

  • 5 credits at the GCE/SSCE/NECO Examinations or their equivalent (in not more than 2 sittings).
  • Note: Admission into Babcock University undergraduate programmes is only through Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Direct Entry (JAMB DE).
  • Candidates who did not select Babcock University as institution of first choice can apply, BUT are required to make Babcock University as institution of first choice at any accredited JAMB CBT Centre in order to complete the Admission process.

Babcock University Part-Time Requirement

Minimum qualification for the First Degree Programme:

  • 5 credits at the GCE/SSCE/NECO Examinations or their equivalent (in not more than 2 sittings), and 2024 JAMB Part-Time Application Form.
  • Only candidates from 16years of age and above are eligible to apply.
  • Note: Admission into Babcock University undergraduate Part-Time programme is only through Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

How to Apply for Babcock University Post UTME

Candidates who chose Babcock University as their first choice in the 2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) can now apply for the Post UTME/Direct Entry by visiting the Babcock University Admission Portal.

Steps to Apply for Babcock University Screening/Verification Exercises

Step 1: Visit the Application Portal

Step 2: Create an account – Click on the “Sign Up” button. Enter your email address, application type and create a password. Verify your email through the link sent to your inbox.

Step 3: Make the payment – Click on the “Sign Up” button. Enter your email address, application type and create a password. Verify your email through the link sent to your inbox.

Step 4: Fill in your bio-data – Log in with your new account. Fill out your personal information, including your date of birth, contact details, guardian details and upload a recent photo for your profile.

Step 5: Meet the entry requirements – Enter details of your previous education, including schools attended, dates of attendance, exam grades and qualifications obtained.

Step 6: Attach necessary documents – Attach any required documents such as letters of recommendation, Upload transcripts, any relevant academic documents, and identification.

Step 7: Choose a screening centre – Select your preferred screening center from the provided list.

Step 8: Complete the attestation – Preview all the information you have entered. Click the “Submit Application” button to finalize your application. You will receive a confirmation email once your application is successfully submitted.
